A different
way to learn
42 Belgium exists because the traditional tech talent pipeline is broken — too narrow, too slow, too exclusive. We built something different.
No barriers.
Just
motivation.
This method doesn’t just create excellent coders. It creates adaptable, curious, and collaborative professionals ready for a world that never stops changing.
No tuition, no diploma required, no age ceiling beyond 18.
Our open model welcomes people from every background, identity, and path. That mix fuels creativity and innovation.
There are no teachers or lectures. Instead, you take ownership of your learning, supported by peers. The projects are checked with automated tests and structured peer reviews.
Progress depends on sharing knowledge: you learn with and from others.
The curriculum is gamified; each project unlocks the next with clear milestones.
From day one, students code, test, review, and deliver like in real companies.
Challenges are designed to make you stumble, reflect, and grow. If you failed, it’s because you tried too early. So retry.
Because life doesn’t fit into 9–5. The students are free to work whenever it suits them best, depending on their preferences and life events.
The curriculum is in English, and the community is multilingual (mainly French, Dutch, and English). On ne juge pas ton passé, on mise sur ton potentiel.
