Campus 19 becomes 42 Belgium
A new era for tech education in Belgium
Why this name change?
The name Campus 19 was never chosen at random: 1 symbolized the beginning and 9 the end, representing a complete learning journey.
But like any evolving technology, Campus 19 is moving to “version 4.2” — a major update of its identity and ambition.
This transition to 42 Belgium marks a key milestone: the campus is now fully aligned with the international 42 network model and reinforces its role as a pioneer in training future-proof tech leaders.
What happens to Campus 19 Brussels?
Campus19 Brussels becomes 42 Belgium Brussels.
The former Campus19 Brussels, located in the heart of BeCentral, remains a hub of innovation open 24/7.
Free and accessible to everyone, the campus welcomes a diverse range of learners: recent graduates, career changers, job seekers, and professionals looking to develop new skills.
Under its new identity, 42 Belgium Brussels continues to offer the peer-to-peer and project-based learning approach that made Campus 19 so successful.
What happens to Campus 19 Antwerp?
Campus19 Antwerp becomes 42 Belgium Antwerp.
Since its opening in 2022, Campus19 Antwerp (or Campus 19 Antwerpen) has enabled many students to train free of charge for careers in the digital sector.
Now renamed 42 Belgium Antwerp, the Antwerp campus is fully integrated into 42 Belgium’s national strategy: to train developers and technology leaders capable of thriving in a constantly evolving environment.
What does this change?
42 Belgium keeps everything that made Campus 19 strong:
a free, open-to-all, and 24/7 accessible training model;
a collaborative, teacher-free approach focused on project-based learning;
a network of strong partners (GBL, Belfius, Deloitte, Proximus, Euroclear, Securex, Duvel Moortgat, and others) ensuring sustainable funding and the independence of the model.
With clear ambitions for 2030, 42 Belgium aims to:
train 1,000 active students and have 1,000 alumni;
strengthen collaboration between its two campuses (Brussels and Antwerp);
become a leading European hub for technology education.
